Advanced Procurement Systems (APS) is a full function modular system which was designed and developed to meet the unique requirements of public jurisdictions.

APS Main Menu

The APS System includes Basic Purchasing, Open Market Purchasing,
Contract Purchasing, Stock Inventory, and Department Access.

Basic Purchasing - Module I

Basic Purchasing lets you automate vendor and commodity management, bid tracking, and reporting. Basic Purchasing is the cornerstone for automating your procurement cycle

Open Market Purchasing - Module II

Open Market Purchasing automates the preparation of purchasing documents including Requisitions, Bid Solicitations, Bid Tabulations, and Purchase Orders.

Contract Purchasing - Module III

Contract Purchasing is used to automate Term Contracts, Schedule Contracts, and "Blanket Order" type contracts.

Stock Inventory - Module IV

Stock Inventory simplifies all phases of inventory management, from entry of transactions to creation of management reports, for up to 250 inventory locations. Stock Inventory can be configured to work in conjunction with the other modules, or it can be used as a "stand-alone" Inventory System.

Department Access - Module V

Department Access facilitates remote access for entering Requisitions and status lookup by your end-users.

Bidder Selection - Module IA

Bidder Selection is a subset of Basic Purchasing which lets you automate vendor and commodity management. It is also included with our "stand-alone" Inventory System.

New in Version 4.30 (released 10/99)

Version 4.30 adds new Requisition and Purchase Order document locators. These are Windows 95/98 programs that can be launched from the "Display Requisitions" and "Display Purchase Orders" screen.

Version 4.30 is a must have upgrade for anyone planning to use APS in the year 2000. Included in version 4.30 are all enhancements and corrections made by ACS since we acquired the system in February of 1999. Specifically, we have made a number of corrections to the Stock Inventory and Term Contracts modules as a result of our Y2K testing. There is also a correction to Year-End-Processing that affects the Basic Purchasing and Open Market Purchasing modules.
